David Barnett joins the Institute with a Ph.D. in Physics earned from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995. Dr. Barnett's scientific interests include non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and establishing links between microscopic dynamics and macroscopic transport as well as other fundamental questions in thermodynamics.
